You have the best doctors! (but please, don't eat the hospital food! I think byou should call an emergency deacons meeting and organize them into smuggling your favorite foods into you!

Dear Brother David,
On the day of your surgery, you even had a few of us supporting you back at St. Vincent's. We were the ones who weren't listening very closely Sunday morning. (Ha.) I know I wasn't the only one because the woman in the Operating Waiting Room told me.
We are so pleased, of course, to hear how well you have come through this. God has been faithful to remind us to pray.
You are a true shepherd. You have shown us how to walk through a scary trial. God bless you as you continue to heal.

The blog is a great idea!
The Kunkels are holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
In fact, you might want to eat all of that chocolate cake to keep your feet on the ground since so many are lifting you up.
We are trusting for a smooth and speedy recovery.
We love you,
Suzanne and John

Bro. Dave,
We were shocked to get the email about your current hospital visit. I just want you to know that we are praying for you and your family.I am also placing you all on our churches prayer team list. God is still very much on His throne and I trust he will carry you through this test.
When you heal up you and your wife will need to plan a trip to Myrle Beach, SC for a visit. The wonderful ocean air can do wonders for lungs not to mention the peace of relaxing on the beach and watching the dolphin jumping up as the sun rises to start a wonderful new day.
Enjoy the rest and getting pampered.
In Christ Love, Mike Lubensky and Family.

Leigh, thank you so much for setting this site up so we can keep up with your dad's progress, and know specific prayer requests.
Bro. David, we had special prayer for you at Central Church last night, we all held hands and it was a very moving time and we are expecting great things from God, in and through you!
P.S. Leigh, little Audrey is so cute!

We have asked our family across the US to keep y'all in their prayers & they have added your name to the prayer list of their churches. (Remember I'm from a BIG family!!!)

Thank you, Leigh, for this blog & the picture of Bro. Dave & his beautiful granddaughter!
